CLINOPROTERRA
For more yield and quality                                                                       100% nature from zeolite

CLINOPROTERRA, the soil conditioner:
Since several years special zeolites are utilized as soil additives for fruit and vegetable farming. It was shown that the high ion exchange capability of the zeolites in a singular way increases the intake of trace elements and nutrients.

Effect of CLINOPROTERRA on plant nutrition:
Roots are covered with a symbiotic layer of bacteria (rizosphere microorganisms). These microorganisms live of root secretions and produce for their part phytohormones (gibberellins, auxins), which promote root growth – a complete feedback control system. Under natural conditions the soil regularly suffers from nutrition deficiency. Bacteria are able to release nutrients from soil particles. In this way microorganisms are promoted and mobilize nutrients from the soil. With bio-stimulation with the use of CLINOPROTERRA it is possible to increase the bacterial biomass of the root zone and to increase root growth.

Reasonable yields in times of extreme drought:                                    The soil can only fulfill its tasks during drought or rain if its clay/humus complexes are stable. CLINOPROTERRA ensures that the soil can better fulfill its function as a water reservoir during times of drought. During rainfalls the improved granular structure helps to ease the drainage of water.

Scientific studies have shown that certain zeolites act as a prolongator for plants. Additionally, heavy metals, radioactive and toxic substances are absorbed and neutralized by zeolite!

CLINOPROTERRA is a highly effective biocatalyst:

+ CLINOPROTERRA stores, due to the negative framework charge of zeolite, plant-available nitrogen and potassium and releases these nutrients when required (prolongator).

+ CLINOPROTERRA substantially improves the water storage capacity.

+ CLINOPROTERRA enables improvement of the granular structure by promoting soil microbes.

+ CLINOPROTERRA neutralizes heavy metals, radioactive and toxic substances in the soil and in the groundwater.

+ CLINOPROTERRA absorbs mycotoxins.

+ CLINOPROTERRA increases the nitrogen, potassium and phosphorus intake of plants.

+ CLINOPROTERRA optimizes the plant metabolism.

+ CLINOPROTERRA can particularly be recommended for loam, moorland, clay and sandy soils.

Zeolites contribute in many respects to a cleaner and safer environment. The utilization of zeolite is actually always connected to environmental factors; it plays an important role in the destruction of harmful waste.
Natural zeolite possesses the specific ability to attract heavy metal cations. It can absorb elements such as strontium 90, cesium 137 and other radioactive isotopes.

CLINOPROTERRA facilitates dissolving of phosphates by absorbing the cation Ca++ of tricalcium phosphate due to a chemical reaction of the zeolite. Zeolite is an excellent source of organic substances and organic nitrogen with protein origin.

The composition of CLINOPROTERRA ensures an average distribution of fertilization elements up to 60 days, depending on the type of fertilizer. During this period a uniform growth is maintained. The extraordinary cation exchange capability of the zeolites increases the nutrient effectiveness by acting as NH4+ storage. The nutrients are held in their intergranular structures and slowly released by ion exchange as soon as the concentration in the soil solution drops.

Further outstanding characteristics of CLINOTERRA are:

  • Excellent water storage capability.
  • Highest cation exchange values.
  • Selective absorption of gases and steam
  • – high internal porosity owing to its granular structure.

Due to its various characteristics scientists even named CLINOPROTERRA an “intelligent” or “ingenious mineral”. Owing to its characteristics it has useful applications in a variety of areas, such as fine chemicals, environmental technology, in the water treatment, oil and pharmaceutical industries as well as in agriculture and in the lawn segment.

CLINOPROTERRA improves the fertility especially for sandy soils and soils poor in organic substances.

It increases the cation exchange capacity of the soil and leads to a slower release of nutrients thanks to its capability to selectively release nutrients. This reduces erosion into the groundwater.

It improves phosphate solubility and makes the phosphorus easier available for plant growth.

Thanks to its hygroscopic characteristics it increases the water availability in the soil.

Due to its catalytic activity it contributes to the oxygen supply of the root area.

Regular application of CLINOPROTERRA over time permits fertilizer reduction while increasing the yield. This is achieved by the zeolite enrichment in the soil, which again acts as nutrient storage.

Agriculture and Climate Protection
For climate protection the highest environmental advisor of the Federal Government sees substantial backlog demand. Already much is achieved, stressed Mr. Flasbarth. But for Germany to achieve her climate objectives, raw materials and natural resources must be dealt with in a more radical way. Even agriculture must be more included in climate protection. For this future subsidies must go into specific climatic performances, such as careful cultivation or moderate fertilization.
