Improves the nutrient uptake, binds mycotoxins and ammonia in the digestive tract.
Clinoptilolith-zeolite is a natural microporous stone of volcanic origin which can only be found in certain mountains of some countries. There are more than 100 different zeolite types. The clinoptilolith zeolite ranges among the crystalline forms. The basic structure of clinoptilolith zeolite is a crystal lattice having cavities of four Angström (1 Angström = 0,1 nm). This crystal lattice mainly consists of silicon dioxide (SiO2) and aluminium tetroxide (AIO4) tetrahedons. In this compact SiO2-AIO4 crystal lattices having a net-like structure, there are cations of calcium, magnesium, sodium, potassium in a compound with water of crystallisation (non-free H2O), thus permitting a rapid ion exchange. These very small cavities provide a large active surface with very favourable adsorption- and absorption conditions.
CLINOFIT® SI 300 is able to perform the following functions:
Ion exchange (selective, capacitive)
adsorption and absorption
molecular sieve function
catalyst effect
development of proteins from amino acids and polypeptides.
The crystalline SiO2 formed by volcanic “processing“ is able to form traces of molecular disperse colloidal silicon when water is supplied, this silicon as such fulfills important physiological functions.
Zeolite as additive:
Prevention of lumps and meltings in the feed.
Increased feed conversion rate, improves the physical development of the animals – resulting in weight increase.
High binding rate of ammonium results in an optimum odour regulation and a healthy environment.
Better distribution of the nutrients in the feed.
The year-round addition of CLINOFIT® SI 300 to the feed recipe enhances the development of the animals.
CLINOFIT® SI 300will be fed in its pure form all year round or mixed to TMR, mineral and supplementary feed. It is tasteless and well accepted by the animals.
